If you didn't read this article this morning, it looks like the MTA is planning on more service cuts.....again. Apparently, they are planning on cutting overnight bus and subway service, and 'tinkering' with the price of MetroCard discounts.
Is yet another subway fare hike in our future?
So, let me get this straight... Last year, the MTA raised rates from $1.50 to $2.00 because they said that they were losing money. Then, it turns out the MTA has two sets of books, and when revealed, turns out they are in the black, and have plenty of money. Now, less than a year later, they are cutting more service and 'tinkering' with rates?
Sometimes this City kills me... Hey, at least we still have the best food in the world!
